    References and supported geometry

Rectangular finished interior faces, unrotated rectangular footprints and two alternatives. Wall west/south anchors place the item’s west/south edge at the offset. Wall east/north anchors place its east/north edge inward by the offset. Item anchors place your west/south edge at the selected item edge plus a signed offset. A referenced item must be placed in that arrangement. Circular references are rejected.

The door is on the south wall; the window is on the north. Their offsets are from the west face. The door box is a chosen conservative keep-clear area. Obstacles can reference interior walls. Other opening orientations, rotations, irregular rooms, furniture shapes, 3D, delivery and automatic optimization are unsupported.

    Gap preference and uncertainty

The horizontal gap is from the chosen item’s east edge to the other item’s west edge where their y-ranges face each other. A chosen preference is not a building, accessibility, ergonomic or safety standard. Nominal geometry warnings are separate.

Intervals use the conservative sum of each contributing input uncertainty multiplied by its coefficient. Shared parameters cancel algebraically. Offsets have their own editable uncertainty. A zero nominal margin or interval crossing the preference is borderline. Unknown heights, skirting, comfort, door hardware, radiator heat/service and measurement quality prevent physical-fit approval.

    Save, reopen and reuse

Free, ad-free beta. No accounts, analytics, external assets, room-data uploads or automatic storage. Inputs stay in this tab until you explicitly save a project or download a derived plan. The host receives page/asset requests and associated network metadata; this tool does not send room inputs to it. Closing or reloading loses unsaved work. Open reads a selected local JSON file, at most 256 KiB; invalid files preserve the current project. Save one project as the editable master. The SVG is a derived view, not a second project.

For a recurring check: save the project, reopen it, correct a measurement or furniture choice, apply and inspect both alternatives. Agent assistance can use the same labelled controls and inspectable results; no MCP integration or measured public discovery has been established.

Beta built with AI assistance. The example is fictional. Supported rooms and furniture are rectangular footprints; review your measurements, references and uncertainty. Results do not approve physical fit, safety, comfort, accessibility, delivery or a purchase.
